“I came to Lisbon on my own for a couple of days and wanted to do something cultural. Sometimes scary by your self but they made me feel welcome and it was a nice smaller more intimate class. We learned a lot about the history of tile making and methods which was very interesting. We then chose a tile we liked and then got to paint and make our own (around coaster size)! I’m very glad I did this and also bought extra items to take back to England to use in my kitchen as their work is wonderful, I’m sad I couldn’t fit more in my luggage. Would recommend to do this to anyone who wants to do something more special and cultural.”

Miguel warmly greeted us with his assistant and we got to work: picking patterns, making stencils, picking colors, painting and having a celebratory beer.
