We created this express experience thinking about travelers that have little time to stop but still want to
learn about our traditional arts and take a creative memory made by themselves back to their countries.

This workshop is entirely suitable for beginners and does not require any previous technical skills.
You’ll be provided a funny experience, in a traditional studio and a relaxed atmosphere.
We’ll reproduce the patterns of tiles that you can see all over the country, while also giving free rein to your imagination.
All the materials needed for this activity are provided by us.

Main activites:

Introduction about the history and techniques of tiles in Portugal.

Opening of a print - by hand and scalpel - of a typical pattern of the portuguese façades.

Painting of 6 tiles (7,5x7,5cm).

The cooking process lasts about 3 days.
You can pick up your tiles after that period at our atelier or they can be shipped for an additional fee.
